Individual Marital/Family Group
If you are troubled by anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, panic, or relationship issues, I will explain why you're experiencing these difficulties and what you can do to feel better now and in the future. As an experienced cognitive behavior therapist, I can teach you how to cope, and I can draw on other therapeutic traditions to make sure that treatment really improves your life. I work with compassion, humor, and (hopefully) some wisdom.
I work well with many kinds of people. I ask my clients to commit to coming weekly and to tell me if I'm making sense or if I'm off base. I like when people think about their sessions during the week and experiment with the coping strategies we develop.
I take my work as a psychologist seriously and give each person's treatment a great deal of thought. I have been happily maried for 25 years and have one child, a 23-year old son. I am the co-founder of the New Jersey Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
